By checking out and using the TROC technology equipment, you are agreeing to ALL the following statements.

-You will accept full responsibility and liability for the electronic device while it is checked out.
-You will not leave the electronic device unattended.
-You agree to return devices to the TROC information desk within the 3-hour, checkout loan period. Not doing so will result in an overdue fine ($25 per hour the device is late).
-You agree to pay an overdue fine of $25 per hour (or part of an hour) if the device is not returned by the time it is due.
-You will pay all costs associated with damage to, loss of, or theft of the electronic device to the TROC. Replacement and damage costs vary depending on the device.
-You agree that if someone is waiting to use an electronic device (or a course is requesting the technology cart), you may be denied the option to renew the material or the item may be recalled.
-Materials may be renewed once.
-You agree to not use the electronic device for any illegal activities.
-You will not tamper with the electronic device hardware or software, attempt to load software, or attach unauthorized hardware to the device. Authorized hardware that may be used on the laptop/iPad devices includes flash drives, headphones, mice, and microphones.
-You agree that failure to comply with any of these rules and guidelines will result in the loss of the privilege of borrowing electronic devices from the TROC.

All our electronic devices are inspected before and after each use to see if any damages occur while checked out. For iPads, we will ask you to sign out of your Apple ID during the check-in process so please visit the information desk for assistance.
