The Griffin iMic USB audio interface lets you connect microphones and sound inputs to your Mac or PC, easily! The compact iMic gives you switchable mic and line-level inputs and a handy line-level output for connecting headphones or monitors. Great for laptops, this little bus-powered interface goes anywhere you want to go, and it provides great sound quality. It comes complete with Final Vinyl editing/EQ software for Macs and Audacity production software for PCs.

This device allows you to plug in microphones, musical instruments, turntables, and tape decks on the input side, and speakers and headphones on the output side. You can use it to convert vinyl records or tapes to digital, or record your voice or a musical instrument, even on computers lacking audio in/out ports as Mic attaches to your computer via USB. You can record to any application of your choice that records audio. However, this is an older device and may not work on newer computers and with newer equipment.
