Abstract

It's Pet Day at school, and Mrs. (the teacher) says that if you have a dog or a cat, you can bring in his picture. But that is not good enough for Junie B. Jones! She searches for a real pet to take to school. Her mother says "no" to catching a wild raccoon, and Grandma Miller steals Sparkle, the dead fish Junie B. wants to take. Worms are too boring, and ants just don't obey very well. Looking into the freezer, Junie B. spots the perfect pet, and when she takes it to school the whole class is in for a big surprise.
